She is a certified specialist in internal medicine, cardiology and arterial hypertension as well as a specialist in Clinical Hypertension of the European Society of Hypertension. Vice-President of the of the Polish Society of Hypertension (2020-2024).
Author and co-author of over 270 peer-reviewed scientific publications, with main scientific interest in hereditary of arterial hypertension (team member of the European Project on Genes in Hypertension), cardiovascular diseases in women (co-author of the cycle of publications on the pathophysiology of hypertension and subclinical organ damage in perimenopausal women and influence of hormone replacement therapy on blood pressure, arterial compliance, endothelial function and quality of life), and subclinical organ damage in the course of hypertension, mainly left ventricular structure and arterial-ventricular coupling.
As a member of the Lancet women and cardiovascular disease Commission, her research interests include a strong focus on sex and gender disparities in patients with cardiovascular disease.
