She is a board-certified pediatric nephrologist and hypertension specialist (DHL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her special interest is in pediatric hypertension and comorbidities of chronic kidney disease and she has conducted numerous clinical trials in pediatric CKD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elke W\u00fchl is a board member of the German Hypertension League (Deutsche Hochdruckliga DHL) and has been vice-chair of the HyperChildNET European Network for Blood Pressure Research in Children and Adolescents (COST Action 19115).
