Elke Wühl, MD, is Professor of Pediatrics and Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist at the Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, University of Heidelberg, Germany. She is a board-certified pediatric nephrologist and hypertension specialist (DHL).
Her special interest is in pediatric hypertension and comorbidities of chronic kidney disease and she has conducted numerous clinical trials in pediatric CKD.
Elke Wühl is a board member of the German Hypertension League (Deutsche Hochdruckliga DHL) and has been vice-chair of the HyperChildNET European Network for Blood Pressure Research in Children and Adolescents (COST Action 19115). She has co-authored several guidelines and published more than 170 scientific articles and book chapters.
