BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Tammy Brady is a Professor of Pediatrics and Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University where she serves as the Vice Chair for Clinical Research and the Medical Director of the Harriet Lane Kidney Center Pediatric Hypertension Program.  As of February 1, 2026, she will be the Director of Hypertension and Kidney Health Research in the Center for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. She has focused her career on improving the care of individuals at increased cardiovascular disease risk through research and clinical innovation.  She is a recognized expert in blood pressure measurement and blood pressure device validation, serving on the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI)/ISO Sphygmomanometer committees and as co-chair of the American Medical Association’s Validated Device Listing Committee.
